How it all VE--GAN!

Founded in October 2020 over a vegan supper with the besties.

After struggling to find decent dairy free cakeage, we started to delve into the realms of vegan baking.

Cakes without eggs - could that really be a thing?

Spen the Chef Extraordinaire (that’s me!) with a good few years of cooking for the high and mighty, training kids how to cook and owning a restaurant, finding a new way to bake without eggs and dairy sure was an exciting challenge to take on!

So it started with testing and eating tonnes of cake.  First up was the sticky toffee cake, a firm favourite from the old restaurant. There has been no shortage of friends and family to help with quality control.
